Job Description:

My clients have been operating on the fringes of the UK fleet market for almost ten years, underwriting on behalf of insurance companies. They launched their new underwriting facility in December 2017 with the backing of Accredited Insurance (Europe) Ltd (AIEL). AIEL is owned by the Randall & Quilter Group of companies and carries an A- AM Best Rating. They are also supported by Transatlantic Reinsurance (London) Ltd, rated A+ by leading agencies.

They are expanding in 2024-2025.

We are now looking for experienced Motor Claim Handlers for them.

There are several public car parks nearby. Piccadilly train station is less than a 10-minute walk from the office, Oxford Road train station less than a 5-minute walk, Piccadilly bus station less than a 5-minute walk, and the tram stop in St Peter’s Square is only a couple of minutes away.

Further opportunities to join our growing business include roles for motor claims handlers, including credit hire claims handlers, to deal with all aspects of motor claims up to an individual handling authority, in accordance with company procedures and legal regulations. The role involves investigating, negotiating, and settling claims, while identifying potentially fraudulent claims.

Duties will include:

  • Proactively managing cases
  • Ensuring reserves are appropriately amended
  • Regularly reviewing inactive cases
  • Maintaining effective working relationships
  • Being adaptable and a good team player with effective communication skills
  • Having good time management and organizational skills
  • Handling telephone queries confidently

It would be an advantage to have:

  • A sound understanding of motor claims processes
  • Experience handling potentially fraudulent claims, personal injury claims, or involvement in the MoJ process
  • The ability to negotiate settlements and make sound decisions
