We are seeking a talented individual to join our Reinsurance Broking team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in the London office. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.

The role: Motor & Casualty Reinsurance Broker

An opportunity has arisen for an AVP Broker within our UK Motor & Casualty team. This role offers the chance to join a growing team managing a diverse portfolio of business.

Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers and clients
- Provide advice and technical expertise to internal teams
- Assist in placement strategies and market presentations
- Support Account Executives and Senior Brokers in developing solutions
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues
- Demonstrate market awareness to secure optimal terms
- Develop product knowledge in Motor and Casualty lines
- Keep management informed on issues and progress
- Manage renewal processes proactively
- Support colleagues in placing different lines of business
- Contribute to new business development
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in reinsurance broking
- Knowledge of P&C products
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build and manage relationships
- Willingness to assist in business growth and marketing
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Motor and Casualty Reinsurance
- Client and reinsurer interaction experience
