Job summary

Newcastle United is seeking a Motion & Video Designer to create high-quality motion design, animation and video content across the Club, partnerships and campaigns. You will bring concepts to life and strengthen storytelling for supporters across social, digital, matchday and broadcast.

Working with the Creative team under the Art Director, you will translate briefs, develop motion systems and stay ahead of trends in sports media.

Responsibilities

• Produce motion graphics, animation and video assets for Club and partner campaigns, matchday content, merch launches, and digital channels.
• Translate briefs into engaging motion-led content that meets Newcastle United's creative standards.
• Animate existing design systems across formats and platforms.
• Support concept development, animation direction and visual storytelling.
• Contribute motion-led ideas to campaigns and planning sessions.
• Collaborate with producers, editors, agencies and suppliers to ensure final delivery.
• Maintain high standards in animation, typography and visual effects.
• Develop reusable motion systems and templates for consistency and efficiency.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in motion design and sports broadcasting.
