Job summary

Bloom Careers is seeking a design-led Motion Designer to bring a leading beauty brand to life through After Effects and AI-powered content. This is a design-led motion role focused on strategy, not illustration or character animation.

You will design and animate paid social creatives across formats, transform static campaigns into compelling motion, and integrate AI to speed up production. The role emphasizes scalable motion systems and collaboration with performance teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in motion design for beauty or premium brands.
• A showreel with commercial, typography-led motion and paid social work.
• Expert After Effects skills; proficiency in Premiere Pro, Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Hands-on experience with AI image and video tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and animate high-performing paid social creative in multiple formats.
• Turn static campaigns into scroll-stopping motion.
• Use AI tools to generate, extend and edit imagery and video, and build AI into the workflow.

We’re working with a leading beauty brand looking for a design-led Motion Designer to bring the brands to life through After Effects and AI-powered content - This is a design-led motion role, not an illustration or character-animation role.

What you’ll do

• Design and animate high-performing paid social creative, from first idea through every format and cut-down
• Turn static campaigns, product stories and claims into scroll-stopping motion
• Use AI tools to generate, extend and edit imagery and video, and build AI into a faster workflow
• Build motion systems and templates that scale across brands, formats and markets
• Test hooks, edits and formats with the performance team, and use the results to improve the next round

What you’ll bring

• 4+ years in motion design, in-house or agency, ideally in beauty, fashion, lifestyle or premium consumer brands
• A showreel with commercial, typography-led motion, paid social work and content made for different placements
• Expert After Effects skills, plus confidence in Premiere Pro, Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Hands-on experience with AI image and video tools, and the curiosity to keep up as they change
