Product Sales Specialists - Motion & Drives - North UK - 52,000 + Bonus

Motion and Drives Product Sales Specialist required to join a global leading B2B distributor of industrial automation and control products and solutions.

As the successful Product Sales Specialist you will have a strong technical background, ideally with a recognised qualification in electrical and / or electronic engineering, and will have previous experience providing technical support, knowledge and advice to external customers.

The successful candidate will develop profitable Motion & Variable Speed Drives sales growth within my clients existing accounts, in line with company targets. The role will consist of developing existing accounts and new business development targets with technical solutions.

The Package:

Salary - 48,000- 52,000

Bonus circa 14,000 based on layered targets

The Role:

• Responsibility for the profitable growth of the Motion & Variable Speed Drives business in the North of the UK.
• Managing the day to day sales activity of Motion & Drives products.
• Identifying and converting New Business opportunities.
• To offer training, advice and assistance to the wider sales team.
• Attending joint customer visits with the wider sales teams.
• Ensure own level of product knowledge is kept up to date.
• Communicate and interface with all other branches and departments on commercial issues and portray a professional image at all times.

Requirements:

• Experience in Technical Sales, Product Management, Applications Engineering or similar.
• HNC/HND in electrical engineering (or equivalent electrical engineering qualification) would be advantageous.
• A detailed knowledge of Variable Speed Drives and Motion control mechanical systems and system architecture is essential.
• The role holder will have the ability to provide practical solutions, solve problems and look for continuous improvements for both the customer and the company.
