Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a car sales executive or in retail management is beneficial.
  • Ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Valid UK driver's license required.

Job Introduction

We have a unique opportunity for a Motability Car Sales Specialist to join our Volkswagen Dealership in Coventry. As a Motability Specialist, customer care will always come first to you. You’ll take the time to talk to customers, build a genuine rapport and identify their exact requirements. It’s all about matching the person to the right car and ensuring they have the features and add-ons to suit.

The hours of work are between 8.30am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, with a day off in the week and working 10am to 4pm on Sundays on a rota basis.

Benefits include use of a company car and an OTE of £50,000.

Role and Responsibilities

  • You will deal with all Motability car enquiry leads, converting those appointments into sales, ensuring all sales leads are maximised
  • Advising customers on the right vehicle for them, as well as any available extras, accessories and value-adding products
  • You’ll drive the sales process, from meet and greet, test drive, presentation of products and sales through to delivery and handover of the vehicle
  • Responsible for making outbound calls to Motability customers due for renewal

About you

  • This may suit someone who has previously worked as a car sales executive, retail manager or sales manager.
  • Ultimately you will be able to demonstrate an ability and record of achieving and exceeding targets.
  • The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.
  • Hold the potential to forge a successful career in the industry.
  • You will hold a valid UK drivers licence.
  • Motor trade, automotive or car dealership experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
