Qualifications

• Qualified to an appropriate level in vehicle maintenance.
• Experience in a dealership or service centre setting is essential.
• Hold a full driver’s licence with fewer than nine points.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests on vehicles and ensure compliance.
• Assist in workshop with light vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure high standards of customer service.

Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role:

• Current MOT Testing Licence
• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Experience working within a car dealership, independent garage, car supermarket, or service centre
• Completed your MOT tester course (class 4, 5, or 7)
• Experience working on vehicles/cars
• Ideally hybrid/EV trained; training will be provided if not
• Full driver’s licence with less than 9 points
• Team player willing to assist in workshop with light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs
