We are working with the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance and repair business in the Exeter area, looking for a Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.

Job Role: MOT Tester / Technician – Northallerton
Location: Northallerton
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 OTE

Working hours: 5 days a week – No Sundays

Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role:

• Current MOT Testing Licence
• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City and Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance, Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or City & Guilds Automotive
• Experience in a car dealership, independent garage, car supermarket, or service centre
• Completed MOT tester course class 4, 5, or 7
• Experience working on vehicles/cars/LC
• Ideally hybrid/EV trained; training will be provided if not
• Full driver’s license with less than 9 points
• Team player willing to assist in workshop with light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs
