Up To £45,600 annual salary

Lookers VW Darlington is recruiting for a Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and carrying out repairs.

You will report to Mark Connor and receive ongoing support, training, and career progression opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training.

Our technicians are vital to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages.

• Perform vehicle health checks with latest technology
• Conduct MOTs per manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Carry out additional repairs with customer approval
• Road test vehicles to ensure faults are fixed
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, eager to learn, and work to high standards. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are required. MOT licence is a bonus.

Previous experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential; brand training can be provided.
