42 hours weekly

Up To £45,600 annual salary

Lookers VW Darlington is recruiting for a Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, carrying out vehicle health checks with the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and performing repairs.

Reporting to Mark Connor, you will receive ongoing support and access to training opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to further your career.

Our technicians are essential to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages.

• Perform vehicle health checks using the latest technology
• Conduct MOTs according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
• Carry out additional repairs authorized by customers
• Road test vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to work to high standards. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification are required. An MOT Licence is a bonus.

Previous experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
