Autotech Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced MOT Tester for a busy automotive retailer in Swindon. The role entails performing Class 4 MOT tests to DVSA standards, recording results, and coordinating with workshop staff to maintain productivity.

The ideal candidate holds a valid MOT Testing Licence, has workshop experience, and a professional, customer-focused approach. Salary £36,000 OTE, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with pension contribution matching, life assurance, health cash

Qualifications

• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Experience in a busy workshop or automotive environment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Good IT skills and experience with workshop management systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 7 penalty points.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations and standards
• Accurately recording test results and completing all associated paperwork
• Identifying and reporting any additional repair or maintenance work required
• Working closely with technicians and workshop staff to maintain productivity and service quality
• Ensuring MOT equipment is maintained and calibrated in line with regulatory requirements
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and company policies
