Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced MOT Tester for a full-time role in the UK. You will perform daily MOT tests to DVSA standards, carry out safety checks and servicing, and engage in diagnostics and warranty work where qualified.

You will maintain accurate digital job cards and support the busy workshop team, with ongoing manufacturer training including EV and hybrid. The role offers a competitive base salary with achievable bonuses, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance

Qualifications

• MOT Tester licence.
• Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and process.
• High standards of safety and customer care.
• A team player who works well in a busy workshop.

Responsibilities

• Daily MOT testing to DVSA standards.
• Safety checks, servicing and repair work.
• Diagnostics and warranty work (if qualified).
• Keeping accurate digital job cards and reports.
• Supporting the workshop team when needed.
