AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking a dedicated MOT Tester for a busy main dealership workshop. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards, conduct inspections, and support servicing and vehicle maintenance as required.

The role offers a full-time, permanent contract with a competitive £32,000-£34,000 basic salary, with no requirement to provide your own tools, plus ongoing training and long-term career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as MOT Tester in a professional workshop.
• Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair desirable.
• Strong understanding of MOT testing standards and procedures.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements.
• Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Identify defects and advise on additional work.
• Carry out servicing and routine maintenance as required.
• Perform minor repairs where appropriate.
• Conduct road tests when required.
• Ensure MOT documentation and workshop records are accurate.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
• Work closely with the wider workshop team for efficient vehicle turnaround.
