MOT Tester - LVG Technician

Our client in Stoke are looking to hire a MOT Tester/LVG Technician to their team. You will be carrying out MOTs on all Stoke on Trent taxis and some private customer vehicles.

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday
£20 ltd per hour
37 Hours Per Week

Job Role

You will be carrying out MOT's on all Stoke on Trent taxis and some private customer vehicles. There are 8 MOT's booked in each day. There will be occasions of minor repairs to their own fleet of vehicles if there is no MOT to do.

Requirements

1. DVSA MOT Licence
2. Be a time served technician with significant experience or hold an appropriate NVQ Level 3 qualification.
3. A technical knowledge of vehicle, plant, trailers and equipment design and specifications.
4. Knowledge of Light Goods Vehicle maintenance and repair.
5. Knowledge of M.O.T. Testing, standards and procedures.
