MOT Tester

Full time - Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm

Role description
  1. Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  2. Perform detailed inspections of vehicle components, including brakes, lights, steering and exhaust systems.
  3. Identify any faults or issues that may affect vehicle performance and safety.
  4. Complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
  5. Provide clear explanations regarding test results and any required repairs to the manager.
  6. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Experience and Qualifications
  1. Good level of general education (Maths and English GSCE or equivalent)
  2. MOT Qualified (essential)
  3. Level 3 Motor vehicle qualification
Essential criteria
  1. You must hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence
  2. Flexible to work hours required for the role and training requirements.
