MOT Tester / Car Mechanic

Employment type: Permanent

Location: Northwich

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum basic salary depending on experience.

My client is offering an exciting opportunity for an MOT Tester & Car Mechanic to join their well-established MOT and Service Automotive Garage in Northwich.

If you are a Car Mechanic looking to join a family-owned garage where you can make a real impact, our client is currently seeking an experienced Car Mechanic to become a key player in their highly reputable garage.

Example of Responsibilities
  1. Perform diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues.
  2. Conduct routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire changes, and brake inspections.
  3. Repair and replace worn or broken parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
  4. Ensure vehicles are safe and in excellent operating condition.
  5. Keep detailed records of all work performed.
  6. Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle condition and necessary repairs.
  7. Conduct MOT's (If MOT qualified)
Experience/ Skills Required
  1. Excellent communication skills
  2. Previous experience as a Car Mechanic is essential
  3. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills.
  5. Valid driver's license.
  6. Related qualifications or certificates would be preferred.
