Job summary

A family-run automotive service center in Liphook is seeking a qualified MOT Tester. The ideal candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Responsibilities include conducting MOT tests and servicing vehicles. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, offering a salary of up to £40,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Computer and Electrical literate, with own tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties.
• Servicing, including oil filter and brakes when MOTs are not scheduled.
• Comply with health and safety legislation.

Skills

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

MOT Tester Required for Family Run Service Centre in Liphook, Hampshire.

- Monday - Friday 8am - 5.30pm Only

We are currently seeking to recruit a fully qualified MOT Tester to join our client’s busy Automotive Workshop in Liphook, Hampshire.

The position is based on Monday - Friday 8:00 – 5.30pm. We do not open on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties
- Servicing, Oil Filter, suspension, brakes and pads when MOT tests are not scheduled
- Comply with health, safety and environmental legislation and policies
- Assist with other duties as requires

Essential Skills:

- Must be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Experienced in carrying out all classes of skilled work involving inspection and maintenance
- Experienced with modern diagnostic equipment and vehicle technology
- Computer & Electrical literate
- Has own tools and able to work self sufficiently in a workshop environment.

The successful MOT Tester will ideally live within Liphook or be able to travel to the Liphook area and be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and repair.
