Job summary

Evans Halshaw in Edinburgh is seeking a Renault Technician to join our Renault Edinburgh team. You will work within a franchised workshop, with a 4-day week option and salaries based on a 45-hour week, plus a £2,000 joining bonus.

Basic salary ranges £41,119 to £44,213, with OTE from £44,179 to £47,273. Essential MOT Tester Licence and Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair are desirable qualifications; driving licence required. We offer training, progression and a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (desirable)
• MOT Tester Licence – essential
• Experience of completing cam belt and clutch replacements
• Equipped with a full UK driving licence
• Technical knowledge to confidently and safely carry out repairs and maintenance of customer vehicles
• Experienced of working to the highest quality standards, with the drive to exceed expectations and productivity targets
• Capable of using systems and equipment within our workshop
• Passionate for our industry, the people who work in it and the people we serve

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing and repair work on customer vehicles
• Diagnose faults and perform needed repairs to required standards
• Ensure workshop safety and quality procedures are followed

FLEXIBLE 4-DAY WORKING WEEK AVAILABLE – Salaries are based on a 45 hour working week. Alternative 40 and 42.5-hour working patterns are also available and can be discussed at interview stage.
