Job summary

Halfords in Cardiff is seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join our Autocentres team. You will perform MOT tests and assist with light vehicle maintenance in a busy workshop environment, contributing to a high standard of service.

We offer a base salary of £35,000 with an uncapped bonus scheme, averaging about £6,000 extra per year, and on-target earnings up to £41,000. This full-time role operates 5 days a week with excellent career opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current MOT Testing Licence (essential); other roles available if not held.
• Must have a full driver’s licence with no more than 9 points.
• Team player who can assist in workshop with light vehicle maintenance when not performing MOTs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT testing on vehicles in the workshop.
• Carry out light vehicle maintenance when not conducting MOTs; support in busy periods.
