We are looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester on behalf of our leading nationwide autocentre client.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 08:30 to 18:00 & Saturday 08:30 to 17:00, with a day off during the week (negotiable).

Sunday trading hours are from 10:00 to 16:00. You are expected to work 2 Sundays per month on a rota, with additional supplementary payment on top of the annual salary.

Holiday:

20 days per year, plus statutory holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • All MOT Testers must hold a Tester licence issued by the DVSA. The company will pay for renewal if expired.
  • Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and input details into the DVSA computer system.
  • Fit specified products to customer vehicles and perform ancillary services.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the centre and equipment.
  • Increase sales of products and services according to procedures.
  • Adhere to company policies & procedures.
  • Follow reasonable instructions from management.
  • Wear a clean and presentable uniform provided by the company, including safety boots.
  • Be available to work at designated times.
