Job description

MOT Tester required for our Client’s busy well established vehicle repair centre, located in Basildon.

The salary of this role is up to £36,000.

MOT Testers play a huge role in our Client’s company and they play a huge role in keeping our roads safe!

Benefits:

• Competitive Basic Salary of £32,000 – £36,000 p.a.
• Monthly performance bonus – typically £100 to £500 based on hours sold
• Monday to Friday Full Time - Shift & Day Hours Options available.
• No weekend working – enjoy your Saturdays off!
• Training provided for additional duties (e.g. HGV brake testing).

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Hold a valid MOT Licence
• Have previous working experience within the role
• A Full UK Driving Licence
• The ability to communicate with customers effectively
• A sound Mechanical knowledge
• Carrying out MOT Failure rectification work as and when required
• Ensuring VOSA standards are met at all times
