Job description

As a MOS Operative, you will be responsible for Traffic Management Schemes across various projects. Your main duties include manual control of traffic light systems on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow and monitoring site conditions. You may also work alongside qualified operatives to ensure efficient job execution while maintaining high Health and Safety standards. Flexibility is essential due to the dynamic nature of the role.

This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy or are accustomed to outdoor, physical work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Understand safe working methods and best practice procedures.
2. Learn to conduct risk assessments and prepare method statements for traffic management tasks.
3. Carry out activities following established procedures, identifying areas for improvement and reporting them.
4. Assist with daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and tidiness.
5. Promote a positive company image through appropriate attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
6. Assist the public by directing them safely around the site when required.

Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving License.
• Training will be provided in traffic management procedures.
