Job Description:

Mortgage Services Development Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Mortgage Advisor to take their first step into a management role after approximately 12 to 18 months with an OTE of £65k.

Purpose:

To support and develop less experienced colleagues, provide supervisory support to mortgage advisors, and achieve revenue and product sales as a Mortgage Advisor.

Responsibilities:

• Support and develop less experienced colleagues.
• Supervisory support of mortgage advisors, including T & C requirements, as agreed with the Sales Manager.

Knowledge Required:

• Excellent knowledge of Financial Services core products (Mortgages, Life Assurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection, Buildings & Contents Insurance).
• Knowledge of house purchase/move related services such as Conveyancing and Estate Agency operations.
• Technical and e-commerce knowledge to promote group services effectively.
• Understanding of Financial Services compliance rules and regulations specific to mortgage & protection business.
• Experience within a Training and Competence framework.
• Proven track record in sales and customer-facing roles.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Aptitude for coaching and motivating others, and identifying business opportunities.
• Ability to analyze client needs for delivering good customer outcomes.

Background, Experience, and Qualifications:

• At least two years in financial services, with nine months as a Senior Mortgage Advisor preferred.
• Consistent performance in business production and quality.
• Knowledge of latest products and market developments.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., CeMAP, Certificate in Financial Planning).
