Overview

Basic to £48,000. OTE £57-60,000 (uncapped). As part of the growth of their mortgage and equity release business our client, a highly respected IFA, is seeking to appoint a suitability qualified Sales Manager whose role will be to lead and drive the growth of both their Mortgage advisers. Working remotely, the successful candidate will possess a strong analytical approach to the sales process and compliance to ensure each opportunity is maximised within a compliant customer-led approach. They will be able to demonstrate the ability to work remotely with phone-based advisers, providing support through effective mentoring and leadership via extensive call listening and providing effective and constructive feedback.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and drive growth of Mortgage advisers within the mortgage and equity release business.
  • Provide remote management, mentoring and leadership to phone-based advisers.
  • Apply strong analytical approach to the sales process and compliance to maximise opportunities.
  • Support advisers through call listening and constructive feedback to improve performance.
Requirements
  • Extensive remote managerial and leadership experience (minimum 2 years).
  • Experience in providing training, support and mentoring within a virtual environment.
  • CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Whole of market mortgage experience including use in one or more sourcing systems.
  • Strong understanding of the protection market with a demonstrable track record of managing advisers.
  • Ability to lead by example and demonstrate what good looks like within both sales and the sales process.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high degree of confidence and ability to influence people.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with experience of working with CRM systems.
  • A can-do attitude, willing to share knowledge, welcome feedback, create opportunities and be passionate about self-improvement.
