Mortgage Sales Assistant

Are you a customer focussed individual, with high attention to detail looking to broaden your knowledge in mortgage lending?

Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their Mortgage Intermediary Sales Support Team. This is a fast-paced role involving sales skills, customer service and administrative responsibilities. This a 12-month FTC covering Maternity leave. It would be a great opportunity for someone looking at field based BDM career in the future.

The head office is based in Nottinghamshire, and they can offer a hybrid approach to the working week, requiring a minimum of 2 days a week in the office (Mondays & Tuesday).

Duties of the Mortgages Intermediary Sales Support Assistant will include:

  • Answering mortgage broker enquiries via phone / email
  • Completing Decision In Principle requests
  • Carrying out affordability assessments and credit checks
  • Speaking to brokers to understand more about their business
  • Liaising with intermediaries in a professional manner, keeping them up to date with their cases and resolving issues where required.
  • Proactively make outbound telephone calls to identified intermediaries to chase DIPs and other sales opportunities.
  • Assisting brokers and customer in selecting appropriate retention products.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has previous experience in a customer service role, high attention to detail and really wants to progress their career in mortgages/finance services. If you have any previous sales or have worked in a regulated environment, that would be highly desirable.
