Worth Recruiting – Property Industry Recruitment in Woking is seeking an experienced CeMAP qualified Mortgage and Protection Advisor to join an established estate agency. You will provide expert mortgage advice and help clients find suitable financial solutions when buying their next home.

This permanent, full-time role offers an OTE of £70,000, a competitive basic salary with commission, and opportunities to generate new business through existing relationships.

Qualifications

• CeMAP or equivalent mortgage advice qualification.
• Experience providing mortgage and protection advice in a customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, lenders and the application process.
• Understanding of protection products and ability to explain benefits clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Target-driven with ability to develop new business while delivering compliant advice.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to assess mortgage requirements and financial circumstances.
• Research mortgage market and recommend suitable products.
• Advise on protection products (life, critical illness, income protection).
• Manage mortgage applications from enquiry to completion, liaising with lenders and solicitors.
• Build relationships to generate referrals and repeat business.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance.

What you'll be doing (Key Responsibilities) as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor

• Meeting clients to assess their mortgage requirements, financial circumstances and future plans
• Researching the mortgage market and recommending suitable products to meet individual client needs
• Advising on relevant protection products, including life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection
• Managing mortgage applications from initial enquiry through to completion, liaising with lenders, solicitors and estate agency colleagues
• Building strong relationships with buyers, vendors and internal teams to generate referrals and repeat business
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring all advice and recommendations meet regulatory and compliance requirements
