Job summary

Harte Recruitment - Property & Conveyancing Recruitment Specialists is seeking a Mortgage & Protection Adviser in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will manage a ready-to-go pipeline, delivering tailored mortgage solutions and protection products to clients, both face-to-face and over the phone.

The role offers a fast-paced environment with warm leads, a strong earning potential, and a 9–5 style schedule with occasional Saturdays. A full UK driving licence and CeMAP qualification are essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold full UK driving licence.
• 3+ years in mortgage and protection advisory.
• Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent).
• Confident in client interactions, face-to-face and over the phone.
• Commercial mindset with ability to spot opportunities.
• Organised, structured and able to manage a busy pipeline.
• Positive, proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, whole-of-market mortgage solutions to meet each client's needs.
• Provide expert guidance on protection products (life, critical illness, income protection, home insurance).
• Actively manage and convert high-quality leads provided by the estate agency.
• Build strong, long-lasting client relationships through outstanding service.
• Ensure full FCA compliance and internal standards.
• Work closely with estate agency colleagues to maximise opportunities and drive outcomes.

Job description

The Package:

• Up to £35k basic DOE, plus OTE up to £75k
• Realistic earning potential with basic and overall packages tailored to experience, performance and output. What you put in, is what you will get out!
• Monday - Friday 8:45am - 5pm (flexible around starting and finishing times for early/late appointments)
• Occasional Saturday work may be required
