Job summary

Mulberry Recruitment Ltd is seeking a motivated Mortgage and Protection Administrator in Aldershot. The role involves processing applications, liaising with lenders and clients, and ensuring accurate records in internal systems.

The position offers full-time, office-based work from 9:00 to 17:30, with training opportunities to progress toward a Mortgage Adviser role in the future. Salary ranges from £28,000 to £40,000, negotiable depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgages, protection, or financial services preferred
• Strong data entry and Excel skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Manage and process mortgage and protection applications from initial enquiry through to completion
• Liaise with lenders, insurers, solicitors and clients to obtain documentation, provide updates and progress applications
• Maintain accurate client records, ensuring information is correctly entered into internal systems and Excel spreadsheets
• Prepare mortgage documentation, illustrations and supporting paperwork for client meetings and recommendations
• Monitor case progress and proactively chase outstanding information to ensure applications progress efficiently
• Ensure all administrative activities are completed in line with compliance requirements and regulatory procedures
• Handle client enquiries via telephone and email, providing a professional and responsive service
• Support advisers with day-to-day administration and case management
• Assist with general office administration duties as required
