The role involves tracking and onboarding quality advice firms (Appointed Reps) into the QFP Mortgage Network, supporting network growth and recruitment of RIs into existing firms. The focus is on Mortgage and Protection advice, emphasizing strong client outcomes and growth within the group.

The Search Consultant will support the Regional Director in sourcing and converting high-quality recruits, ensuring a smooth recruitment journey. Responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying, contacting, and nurturing prospective Reps using various marketing channels.
  2. Assisting new advisers with application paperwork and guiding them through the process.
  3. Supporting advisers in developing Business Plans to demonstrate their suitability.
  4. Maintaining relationships with recruits, gathering referrals, and upholding brand image.
  5. Updating recruitment data in the CRM platform, Workable.
  6. Staying informed about market trends and sharing insights with the team.
  7. Fostering teamwork and cross-collaboration.
  8. Ensuring compliance with Risk and Compliance standards.
  9. Promoting service excellence and continuous improvement.
  10. Building strong relationships across the business, embodying company values.

Consumer Duty

About You

  • Understanding of different adviser employment models (employed vs self-employed).
  • Strong knowledge of Mortgage and Protection businesses.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.
  • Experience in fast-paced recruitment environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Competent IT skills, including LinkedIn and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to learn and develop.
  • Desirable: CeMAP qualification or willingness to attain it.
  • Target-driven and comfortable under pressure.
