We have an exciting opportunity for two Mortgage Consultants to join our lending team. Our mortgage consultants work closely with customers, providing friendly and professional service for new and existing mortgage clients.

As a Mortgage Consultant, you will handle general mortgage enquiries, discuss rate-switches and new lending decisions, and make referrals for protection needs that meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

1. Deliver outstanding customer service as part of a team in line with service agreements.
2. Handle customer mortgage enquiries effectively (Inbound, Outbound, Written).
3. Identify suitable options for new lending, rate switches, and mid-term variations.
4. Support with an MA or facilitate rate-switches or mid-term variations.
5. Identify new lending opportunities and complete decisions in principle.
6. Make referrals for protection needs to appropriate partners.
7. Operate according to policies and regulatory guidelines for optimal customer outcomes.
8. Hold full CeMAP qualification or equivalent.
9. Have knowledge of our mortgage products and sales process.
10. Experience with mortgage systems and customer databases.
11. Ability to understand customer needs and achieve the right outcomes.
12. Knowledge of the wider mortgage market and regulatory requirements.
