TEMPLEGATE RECRUITMENT is seeking a customer-focused Protection Adviser in Tyne and Wear. You will advise existing customers on protection needs, review current arrangements, and propose suitable solutions. The role offers a mix of commission and bonus with a realistic career progression path.

The ideal candidate holds CeMAP 1 and demonstrates excellent communication, relationship-building, and a proven ability to meet targets within a supportive team environment.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Protection Adviser to join their successful and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Protection Adviser to develop their career within a supportive and progressive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising existing customers on their protection requirements
• Identifying opportunities to review and enhance customers' existing protection arrangements
• Understanding customers' individual circumstances and recommending appropriate protection solutions
• Working towards individual and team targets through a combination of commission and bonus opportunities
• Maintaining accurate and compliant customer records
• Continuing to develop technical knowledge and professional expertise through ongoing training

What We're Looking For:

• Experienced Protection Adviser
• CeMAP 1 qualification as a minimum
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable working towards targets and earning through commission and bonus

Desirable Skills:

• Previous experience working within a mortgage environment
• Progress towards CeMAP 2 & 3
• Experience working within a mortgage or protection brokerage

Previous mortgage experience is desirable but not essential. The right attitude, customer focus and willingness to develop are equally important.
