Job summary

TipTopJob, a forward-thinking mortgage brokerage in the United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Mortgage Adviser to advance your career and focus on advising clients while writing business. You will benefit from quality leads and a strong support structure around you.

You’ll join an award-recognised team with in-house protection support, a dedicated Compliance Officer, admin support and a bespoke CRM system to reduce admin time as you build your client base.

Qualifications

• Approx. 2 years of relevant mortgage experience.
• Background in Buy-to-Let, Portfolio landlords and investors.
• CeMAP qualification (or eligible with relevant experience).
• Knowledge of affordability assessments and lending criteria.
• Understanding of UK mortgage market and FCA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to use CRM systems for client communication.
• Experience within financial services would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' financial circumstances, affordability and objectives to identify mortgage options.
• Research products and lending criteria across lenders.
• Complete client fact-finds and gather supporting information.
• Prepare and submit mortgage applications and documentation.
• Manage cases through the application process to completion.
• Maintain regular contact with clients, lenders and stakeholders.
• Provide clear and timely updates throughout each case.
• Ensure advice and case management meet regulatory requirements.
