Job description

Overview

Realistic earnings £55-60,000 (uncapped). This is a self-employed role.

Our client is an Independent Financial Advice (IFA) firm specialising in pensions retirement planning, savings, investments, mortgages, equity release and protection.

As part of the growth of their newly acquired mortgage directly authorised brokerage, they are seeking to appoint an experienced mortgage and protection adviser to work remotely on qualified appointments generated in house from new and existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Work remotely on qualified appointments generated in house from new and existing clients.
• Provide mortgage and protection advisory services to clients as part of a self-employed role.
• Utilise the client’s established lead and vetting process to ensure high-quality appointments.
• Follow the company’s processes and maintain professional standards in line with regulatory requirements.
• Be available for approximately 4 evenings per week to accommodate client demand (around 65% of appointments are requested in the evening).
• Write quality volume business and strive to achieve a significant income.

Candidate requirements

• Hold CeMAP or equivalent.
• Have a minimum of 18 months experience within whole-of-market advising and experience of advising virtually.
• Be prepared to work 4 evenings per week on average.
• Have a proven track record of writing quality volume business with a genuine desire to achieve a significant income.

Additional information

The client will provide two qualified fact-find appointments per day.

The client also has a substantial client bank and is actively marketing new leads for the mortgage team.
