Job summary

Finance Advice Centre Ltd is seeking self-employed Mortgage and Insurance Advisers to join our Derby team, offering a vibrant, client-focused role with flexibility to meet clients at the office, home, or workplace, or over the phone.

You will deliver independent advice, sourcing from the whole market, supported by admin assistance and supplied leads, with encouragement to generate your own opportunities and grow your business.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services and client-facing roles.
• Qualified or studying towards mortgage/insurance qualifications as listed.
• Strong communication and IT skills with typing speed.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent mortgage and insurance advice from the full market.
• Meet clients face-to-face or remotely and support their journey.
• Develop client relationships and network to generate leads.
• Utilise admin support while proactively building your own pipeline.

Hours of Work:full time

As a Self Employed Mortgage and Insurance Advisor, you will be responsible for providing independent advice to clients, recommending suitable mortgage and insurance products from the entire market, and supporting them throughout their journey. You will meet clients face-to-face at our office, their home or workplace, or over the phone, offering flexibility to suit your preferences. Admin support is provided to ensure you can focus on delivering excellent service, while leads will be supplied through advertising, websites, and professional introducers. Proactively networking and generating your own leads is also encouraged to maximise your success.

Mortgage and Insurance Advisor Requirements:

• Experience and a proven track record within the financial services industry desired
• Qualified or studying towards CF1 & CF6 or CeMAP 1, 2 & 3 for mortgage advice; CF3, RO5, CeFA 3 or CeMAP 1 for insurance advice
• Excellent communication and people skills with an outstanding phone manner
• Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and a fast typing speed
• A proactive attitude towards networking and building strong client relationships
