Job description

Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser required. My client is a well-established mortgage brokerage based in Surrey, and due to recent growth, they are looking for additional advisers to join their friendly team on a self-employed basis.

Self-Employed Mortgage Adviser Position Overview

1. Provide expert mortgage advice and guidance to all customers
2. Conduct comprehensive consultations to understand customers' situations and goals
3. Stay updated on mortgage market trends, interest rates, and lending policies
4. Educate customers on mortgage-related terminology, processes, and risks to facilitate informed decisions
5. Maintain strong relationships with customers
6. Assess financial status, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities, to determine borrowing capacity and mortgage eligibility

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a mortgage broker firm, whole-of-market experience, and be CeMAP qualified. As a close-knit company, they prefer someone willing to travel to the office occasionally to meet the team.

Position Requirements

Remuneration

1. Some leads are provided by the client
2. Excellent training and ongoing support
3. 70% commission split on self-generated leads
4. 55% commission split on provided leads
