Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Mortgage Administrator to join our brokerage team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the mortgage process from application through to completion. This position involves managing documentation, liaising with clients and lenders, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout each stage of the mortgage lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support mortgage brokers in the processing and administration of residential and commercial mortgage applications.

  • Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, and third parties to ensure smooth and timely progression of applications.

  • Verify and organise financial documentation including income verification, credit reports, ID, and property valuations.

  • Input and maintain accurate data in CRM and lender portals.

  • Monitor and follow up on the status of applications, ensuring deadlines are met and issues are promptly addressed.

  • Prepare and submit lender packages, ensuring all documentation meets compliance and underwriting standards.

  • Ensure all files are maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements and brokerage policies.

  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering client queries and updating them throughout the process.

  • Support post-completion tasks, including discharge requests, commission tracking, and archiving.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a mortgage administration or related financial services role (brokerage experience preferred).

  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, application processes, and lender requirements.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and lender submission platforms.

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
