Job summary

Mortgage Advice Bureau in Derby invites an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join our team in a permanent, office-based role. You will provide administrative support across the mortgage process, progress applications from start to finish, and liaise with customers, lenders, solicitors and advisers to keep everyone informed.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience working within mortgage administration.
• Good understanding of the mortgage application and completion process.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable managing a busy workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Keen to learn, develop and take on greater responsibility.
• Ideally holds CeMAP and has ambitions to progress into mortgage advice.

Responsibilities

• Providing administrative support throughout the mortgage application process.
• Progressing mortgage cases from application through to completion.
• Liaising with customers, lenders, solicitors and other relevant parties.
• Keeping customers and advisers updated on the progress of applications.
• Ensuring systems and records are kept accurate and up to date.
• Supporting the wider mortgage team with day-to-day administration.
• Helping to ensure customers receive a consistently high standard of service.
