Overview

Mortality Review Practitioner role within Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The closing date is 20 October 2025.

Responsibilities

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Mortality Review Practitioner within Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The post involves providing comprehensive administrative and analytical support to the Clinical Audit Team and wider Learning from Deaths national agenda as directed by the Head of Clinical Audit.

Applicants will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of clinical audit and governance across the organisation in partnership with the Clinical Audit Team.

  • Competent ability to use both qualitative and quantitative methods data analysis
Skills
  • IT literate & competent – can set up and use MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience of accessing electronic care records
  • Analysis of highly complex data, case record review and managing numerous projects keeping to key reporting timescales
