Job summary

Southdown Primary School is seeking a committed Learning Support member to join our team for a 18-hour per week, mornings-only post (Term time). The role supports Year 2 and Year 3 classes and involves collaborative work with teaching staff to promote engaging and inclusive learning. A first aid duty is required at lunchtimes.

Temporary until 31 August 2027, with shortlisting and interviews arranged soon after the closing date. Disclosure and DBS checks apply for all successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting learning for primary school children.
• Ability to work with teaching staff to support learning and emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support Year 2 and Year 3 classes with learning activities.
• Work 18 hours per week mornings, Monday to Friday, until 12:30pm.
• Take lunchtime first aid duties as required.
