Job summary

Premier Education Ltd in the Macclesfield area is seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant for morning-only hours. You will join the breakfast club at 7:45am and then support the Early Years setting until the end of the morning, assisting with play-based learning and development.

The ideal candidate has Level 3 EYFS/Childcare, Paediatric First Aid, and prior EYFS or nursery experience, with a caring, patient approach and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach

• Reliable and committed to morning-only hours
• Two references covering the last two years
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply

Responsibilities

• Support the breakfast club from 7:45am
• Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Work with the class teacher to support learning and development
• Assist with engaging, play-based activities
• Support children's communication, personal, social and emotional development
• Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Support children's individual needs and development
