We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Morning Care Assistants to join our team in Egham, United Kingdom. As a Morning Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents to start their day comfortably and positively.

  • Assist residents with their morning routines, including personal care, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve breakfast, ensuring dietary requirements are met
  • Help residents with mobility, using appropriate moving and handling techniques
  • Monitor and record residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to senior staff
  • Engage in friendly conversation and provide emotional support to residents
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Administer medication as directed by senior care staff, following proper protocols

Qualifications

  • Genuine passion for providing high-quality care to vulnerable individuals
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient and empathetic approach
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical fitness to assist with residents' mobility needs
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commute to Egham for early morning shifts
  • Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable but not required
  • Basic understanding of elderly care or disability support would be advantageous
  • Willingness to undergo necessary training and obtain relevant certifications
