Job Description

Location: We cover; Andover and East Wiltshire (Devizes, Pewsey, Marlborough, Amesbury, Andover, Tidworth, Larkhill, Ludgershall, and surrounding villages)

Job Type: Part-time

Hourly Rate: £12.21 - £12.70 per hour

Shifts: Morning shifts, typically starting at 7:00 am and ending around 11:30am. You can select which regular hours on any day of the week that works for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Morning Care Assistant, you will be helping clients start their day with a smile. You will provide personal care and support to ensure a positive and independent morning routine. Tasks will include:

  • Assisting clients with getting up, washed, dressed, and ready for the day

  • Helping with breakfast and ensuring clients take their medication on time

  • Offering companionship and emotional support to brighten their morning

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients throughout the visit

  • Providing any other support needed for clients to feel confident and ready for their day ahead

What We’re Looking For:

  • Compassionate, kind-hearted individuals with a genuine desire to help others

  • Ability to work a few hours in the morning – ideal for those looking for part-time hours or to work alongside your current job.

  • No prior experience in care is necessary – we will provide all the training you need

  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently

  • Access to reliable transport, as most of our clients are located in rural areas

  • Ability to work alternate weekends preferable

What We Offer:

  • £12.70 per Care hour on completion of Care Certificate

  • Paid travel time £12.21 per hour and mileage of 45p per mile

Qualifications

Previous experience is not required as we will put you through award-winning training to achieve your care certificate. This will be coupled with shadowing, ongoing individual and specialist training and further City and Guilds qualifications to achieve.

  • Must live within a 20 mile traveling distance of SN9 Postcode

  • Ability to work in at least one or more of the areas we cover: Devizes, Pewsey, Marlborough, Andover, Amesbury, Tidworth and surrounding villages.
