Begbrook Primary Academy invites applications for a Lead Playworker (Breakfast Club). The role is part-time (10 hours/week), Monday to Friday, 2 hours per day from 7:30am to 9:30am, during term time.

The post supports the academy’s early start provision, offering a structured, caring environment for children before school. Working pattern is Monday to Friday, 2 hours daily, 7:30–9:30, with potential start date in January 2026 pending checks.

Qualificações

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with line manager and playworkers.
• Supervise, coach and support a team of playworkers.
• Allocate work clearly and provide advice, guidance and quality assure their work.
• Prepare and deliver activities meeting children's intellectual, creative, physical, emotional and social needs.
• Lead a stimulating play programme considering individual needs and interests.
• Promote positive student behaviour and manage conflicts per academy policy.
