Job summary

Arena Racing Corporation is seeking a casual Breakfast Chef to primarily cover breakfast service, preparing and batch cooking independently to ensure an excellent guest experience. You will maintain high food quality and comply with food safety regulations, with flexibility to assist other services as needed.

The role focuses on breakfast but may support other services during absences, requiring strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced branded

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 food preparation preferred.
• Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent) required.
• Proven track record in a similar role.
• Branded hotel experience is an advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food preparation meets standards.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Attend Health and Safety training as directed by the Line Manager.
• Prepare and present high-quality food.
• Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues.
• Comply with security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation.
• Keep working areas clean and tidy and prevent cross contamination.
• Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships.
• Be environmentally aware.
