Job description

This Police and Crime Plan outlines the key priorities and objectives for policing and community safety in London over the next three years. It has been carefully developed in partnership with the MPS, partner agencies, community and voluntary groups, and thousands of Londoners, including victims of crime.

As part of our commitment to deliver the plan and its priorities, we commission crime prevention and reduction services both pan-London and in collaboration with London boroughs through the London Crime Prevention Fund.

Below, you can learn more about the projects and services currently funded, as well as current bidding opportunities for work commissioned by the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) and the Violence Reduction Unit (VRU).

We also focus on initiatives such as the Mayor's programme to improve and renew efforts to tackle violent extremism, services for victims and witnesses of crime, and support for those at risk of offending.

Health and local government partners have committed to pledges aimed at preventing violence against women and girls (VAWG) across the capital. These pledges are the first of their kind in England and Wales and are part of the Mayor’s VAWG Strategy.
