Job summary

UCM Education is recruiting a dedicated Montessori Teacher for a well-established nursery in Enfield. You will deliver Montessori-inspired learning within the EYFS framework, supporting children's independence, confidence, and curiosity.

The role requires a Level 3 Childcare qualification with Montessori experience, strong communication and teamwork, and a passion for child-centred practice. A supportive environment and opportunities for progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Montessori experience essential.
• Strong understanding of child development, EYFS, safeguarding, and child-centred practice.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care and education in line with Montessori principles and the EYFS framework
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children's independence and development
• Creating a calm, stimulating, and welcoming learning environment
• Supporting children's individual learning needs and developmental progress
• Building positive relationships with children and acting as a key person where required
• Completing observations and assessments to monitor children's progress
• Working closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support children's development
• Promoting safeguarding, health and safety, and maintaining high standards of care
• Contributing positively to the wider nursery team and day-to-day running of the setting
