Job description

The Gower School, based in Islington London, is looking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Montessori Teacher to complement our strong Reception team and to provide high-quality teaching for our expanding primary school. This is a permanent, full-time position involving team teaching, which starts in January 2025.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (Term Time)

Person specification:

Our ideal candidate will be sensitive, flexible, talented, and passionate with a good team spirit, ability to lead and inspire, and will have outstanding practice within the classroom. You will hold a full and relevant Montessori qualification such as Montessori Diploma Level 4, Montessori Early Years Degree, or QTS. Experience of a Montessori or enquiry-based learning educational approach is desirable.
