Job description

A montessori pre school in Angel is looking to recruit an experienced Room Leader to join their team working with children aged 2-4.

The Manager is looking for someone who is confident, warm, caring, kind and passionate about childcare.

This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to work 38 hours per week therefore please only apply if you can commit to the following:

-Monday to Friday

-Shifts 8-4:30, 8:30-5, 9-6, 9:30-6 (There is a rota)

-Minimum level 3 or above qualified with Montessori diploma

-Experience working with Early Years

-Experience of a Room Leader role

-Up to date DBS (If not, must be willing to complete one)

-Understanding of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding & EYFS

-Excellent communication skills both written & spoken

You will be required to carry out the following duties:

- Supporting & leading the team

-Follow Nurseries policies and procedures

-Sharing innovative new ideas

-Ensuring the children's needs are met as well as keeping them safe at all times

-Carry out observations and planning on key children

-Communicate with children, staff and parents on a daily basis

-To ensure responsibility for the effective daily running of the pre school

-To have a sound knowledge of company policies, procedures and expectations

-To take responsibility for excellent hygiene, health and safety and security practice within the nursery

-To work co-operatively with the managers, deputy and other room leaders

-To work with outside professionals where required

-To work closely with parents and create trusting relationships with all families

salary £28,000-£32,000 (depending on qualification & experience)
