Job summary

Foster & May Limited is seeking an experienced Monitoring Surveyor to join its tight-knit Surveying team in the Brighton area. You will cover sites across Brighton, London, and the Home Counties, working independently with senior support as needed.

Key duties include producing regular site reports, commenting on accounts and cashflow projections, and forecasting final costs while collaborating with the team and clients. The role offers strong career progression and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• MRICS (or working towards).
• Experience in monitoring surveyor roles or fund monitoring.
• Quantity Surveying knowledge/background would be useful.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Driving licence and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare regular site reports for monitoring projects.
• Comment on accounts and cash flow projections.
• Anticipate final costs and provide insights.
• Work with a small team across multiple sites and regions.

A long-standing, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy is looking to add an experienced Monitoring Surveyor to their close-knit Surveying team in Brighton.

The Monitoring Surveyor's role

Working alongside an Associate Quantity Surveyor and Partner, the new Monitoring Surveyor will cover sites across Brighton, London and the Home Counties, and is experienced enough to work independently, albeit with support from the team.

Day to day, the successful Monitoring Surveyor will be involved in preparing regular site reports, comment on accounts and cash flow projections, anticipate final costs, and more.

The Monitoring Surveyor

• MRICS (or working towards)
• Experience in monitoring surveyor roles or fund monitoring
• Quantity Surveying knowledge / background would be useful
• Excellent communication skills
• Driving licence
• Client facing
