Job summary

Berry Recruitment is recruiting for Monitoring Support Officers to work in the Bristol area. The MSO will work as part of a busy team, supporting field-based colleagues to identify and escalate risk, safeguarding and service issues promptly. The role requires vigilance, clear communication and attention to detail to keep services safe and reliable for users, colleagues and agencies.

5x days a week, 5.30pm–1am, including weekends. £16.41 per hour. DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Field Monitoring Officers with installation and decommissioning of monitoring equipment.
• Act as an extra pair of eyes for the FMO during tasks.
• Assist with carrying equipment (not heavy).
• Hold conversations with residents to enable the FMO to carry out their duties.
• Take notes for the FMO and perform light duties as requested.
• Respond calmly during high-demand periods or incidents.
• Recognise safeguarding indicators and escalate as required.
• Protect sensitive information and share only with authorised recipients.

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting for Monitoring Support Officers to work in the Bristol area.

The MSO will be working as part of a busy, service-focused team, the MSO supports field-based colleagues ensuring that risk, safeguarding and service issues are identified and escalated without delay.

The post holder will combine sound judgement, confident communication and attention to detail to help deliver a safe, compliant and reliable service for service users, colleagues, commissioners and agencies.

Key accountability's

• Working as part of a crew to support Field Monitoring Officers while they install and decommission monitoring equipment.
• Your primary role is to be an extra pair of eyes for the Field monitoring officer while they attend to the task they have assigned to them.
• Assist with the carrying of equipment (this is not heavy equipment)
• Hold conversation with any friend or family at the address to allow the FMO to carry out their role.
• Take notes for the FMO and any other light duties requested by the FMO.
• Respond calmly and constructively during periods of high demand, disruption or incident response.
• Recognise indicators of vulnerability, safeguarding concern, risk of harm or deteriorating behaviour and follow the relevant escalation pathway.
• Protect sensitive personal and operational information, sharing it only with authorised recipients and for legitimate purposes.

Vacancy Details

• 5x days a week from Monday- Sunday 5.30pm- 1am- you must be available to work weekends
• £16.41 per hour
• Own transport is preferred, however we will still consider candidates with no transport.
• Must be willing to undergo a DBS Check
